Center for Breast Health

Today's woman is so busy caring for her family that she sometimes neglects one important thing—herself. That's why the Center for Breast Health at Dupont Hospital was established. The center offers comprehensive care—from mammography services and other diagnostic procedures to education, counseling and diagnosis. For those with a cancer diagnosis seeking information on treatment options, or for information on breast augmentation, reduction and reconstruction surgeries, a resource library, special education programs, support groups and referrals to appropriate community services are available.

The Center for Breast Health at Dupont Hospital was recently named a Certified Quality Breast Center by the National Quality Measures for Breast Centers.

At the Dupont Center for Breast Health, a breast health navigator (clinical nurse specialist) is your advocate for quality care. The navigator provides education and support, handling nursing assessments, scheduling appointments and consultations, assisting with provider/procedure coordination and helping to manage patient symptoms.
